IABM Systems/Software Engineer
Black Knight Technology is looking for a smart programmer and analyst to assist the testing and assessment of the Integrated Architecture Behavior Model (IABM), a next generation U.S. Navy combat system and track manager written using Model Driven Architecture, C++, and Python. In addition, you will be helping build and maintain software tools to assist in the analysis of IABM data written in a variety of languages including C#/VB.Net and Python. Engineering Duties and Requirements
- Design, develop, and test software tools to assist in data analysis efforts
- Integrate, test, and occasionally modify IABM code and components
- Plan and execute engineering tests based on system requirements and analysis needs
- Analyze IABM data for the purposes of both discovering issues and determining the root cause of problems
- Assist in Linux and Windows Server Administration duties
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as engineering, science, or math from an accredited college or university
- Working knowledge of an object oriented programming language such as C++, C#/VB.Net, or Java
- Ability to work independently and deliver on Black Knight’s high expectations
- Intrinsically curious, excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Minimum qualifications for a security clearance or a current security clearance
Bonus Skills:
- Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, PHP, or Ruby
- Experience with both Windows and Linux/Unix
- Experience working on an Agile team or experience with iterative development practices
- General knowledge of the software lifecycle, unit testing, version control, and other key software engineering principles
