Python Support

Chameleon can execute plug-ins written in Python, as long as Python version 2.4 installed on your computer. At this time, no other versions of Python are supported.

If you are unsure of the availability of Python on your computer, you can access an informational dialogue by going to 'Help' -> 'Check Python Availability ...' and viewing the box sampled below:

The dialogue will, of course, inform you if you need to install/upgrade your version of Python. Once your computer is configured properly, Python plug-ins should be placed in the \pyScripts folder located in Chameleon\pyScripts. From there, Python plug-ins can be executed in the same fashion as .Net compiled plug-ins.
