Installing
Visit the download page to obtain the latest release of Chameleon. Once downloaded, run the Windows installer to install Chameleon.
To add a plug-in, simply copy the plug-in into one of the designated folders located in the installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\Black Knight Technology\Chameleon). File paths mentioned below are relative to the installation directory. New plug-ins added while Chameleon is already running will not appear until the application is restarted or you manually refresh the graphical client via 'Plug-ins'->'Refresh'.
Installing .Net Plug-ins
To use a .Net plug-in, simply copy the compiled .Net plug-in into the 'plugins' folder. This is usually located in Chameleon\plugins. Make sure Chameleon is not running before replacing an existing plug-in.
Installing Python Plug-ins
To use a Python script in Chameleon, simply copy the plug-in script in the 'pyScripts' folder located in Chameleon\pyScripts. For more information on Python support visit this page.
Installing Additional Plug-in Resources
If plug-ins require supplemental resources such as a third party library or framework, copy those files into the 'plugin-resources' directory usually located in Chameleon\plugin-resources.
